Kira C. Art is inspired by LaKira Featherstone, a 16 year old artist that has discovered a passion for creating on canvas after taking several art classes in school. In May of 2020, this young entrepreneur teamed up with her “momager" and launched her first virtual art gallery. Her pieces highlighted the beauty of black women with various skins tones, hair types, and styles. One of the most popular portrait orders were one of a girl with vitiligo – the goal was to inspire the beauty in us all regardless of our physical condition. Later, a second successful gallery highlighting celebrities was executed in November 2020, increasing awareness about the Kira C. Art brand.
